The 14th annual Mater Christi Gala is scheduled for Saturday, February 8, 2025, at the Duo at the Dunes located in the Italian American Community Center. This year we celebrate 70 YEARS as a church and school community- our" Platinum" Anniversary! We will celebrate the success of Mater Christi School and provide a wonderful opportunity to bring the community of Mater Christi Church and School together to honor this milestone. Enrollment continues to grow along with our programs and offerings, all of which show that hard work, knowledge, support and faith really pay off when it comes to Catholic education.
This year we honor Mrs. Mary Ellen Doyle Sochor and Roger & Katherine Martel. Mary Ellen has been a devoted parishioner for many years and has dedicated countless hours and unwavering support to our families, parishioners and faculty. We are eternally grateful for how many of her efforts have shaped the journey within our parish and school. As an extraordinary volunteer whose quiet strength, quick humor and boundless commitment have left an indelible impression throughout our community. Mater Christi has benefited from the relationships she has fostered, and her countless contributions, though often behind the scenes, have been instrumental in our success.
Mater Christi recognizes we are blessed to have such incredible support from our community, and we are especially grateful to our dedicated and generous restaurateurs, parishioners and friends of Mater Christi; Roger and Katherine Martel. Their unwavering commitment to our parish and school has truly made a difference. Roger and Katherine have always gone above and beyond to support our events and gatherings, whether it's hosting fundraisers and golf tournaments, providing delicious meals, donating a gift card, feeding our pastors or staff, or simply offering a warm and welcoming space for our community to come together.
The Mater Christi Platinum Gala is our most important fundraiser! This year will be the return of the Gala after a four-year hiatus. We are so excited to bring our community together for an evening to celebrate our amazing school, parish, and honorees. This year our guests will enjoy a cocktail hour with cash bar, followed by a seated dinner buffet with both silent and live auctions. Our hope is this event will allow for guests to mingle before, during, and after with old and new friends while supporting our auction and celebrating our honorees.
We are offering sponsorship opportunities ranging from $250 to $5,000. Details of the benefits associated with each sponsorship level are outlined within the enclosed form.
To ensure the success of the Platinum Gala, we invite you to become a sponsor. Please complete and return the enclosed form, along with your donation. For inclusion in the Platinum Gala program, your contribution must be received by December 20th, 2024.
